Toepassing
Postsaver sleeves worden gebruikt om hout in grondcontact te beschermen. In de hele wereld worden ze gebruikt voor verschillende toepassingen. Of het nu in de tuin, commerciële hekwerken in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, bamboe veeschermen in Chili, of zelfs bevestigingspalen voor klimmers zijn, onze producten bieden hout een langere levensduur.
Materiaal
Houten palen beginnen te rotten op het punt van lucht – grond. De rest van het hout blijft veelal in perfecte staat. Postsaver voorkomt de rotting en zorgt voor een verdubbeling van de levensduur.
Postsaver is een paalbeschermer gemaakt uit een zware buitenlaag in polyethyleen met een smeltbare bitumen laag binnenin. Deze is in verschillende diameters verkrijgbaar en daarom geschikt voor alle soorten palen.
Aanbrengen
De Postsavers zijn 35 cm lang en word simpel aangebracht met een gasbrander. Door de hitte smelt het bitumen en krimpt de thermoplastische huls rond de paal. Omdat de Postsaver wordt aangebracht op het punt lucht – grond zal de paal niet gaan rotten en wordt de levensduur verdubbeld.
Waar er ook houten palen in de grond worden geplaatst, Postsaver biedt vele voordelen.
